Graphic Design Internship

The Albany FireWolves, based out of MVP Arena in Albany, NY, are a proud member of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Inspired by the spirit of the wolf, the FireWolves operate as a pack united by shared values of courage, strength, loyalty, community, and leadership-on and off the field. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Albany FireWolves home game and must be reliable for developing digital and printed assets to be used throughout the course of the season. Qualifications: • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field • Must be available to work all Albany FireWolves home games throughout the season • Willingness to provide a portfolio showcasing relevant graphic design work • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva • Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, and layout principles • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation within the sports industry • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Passion for sports and eagerness to learn about the sports industry Benefits: • Eligible for college credit, if applicable • Gain hands-on experience with a professional sports franchise in a high-energy environment • Build and enhance a diverse portfolio of sales, marketing, and fan engagement work • Receive exclusive Albany FireWolves team merchandise • Connect with sports industry professionals through networking opportunities and events • Receive complimentary tickets to all FireWolves home games • Explore potential pathways for future part-time or full-time employment within the organization
