Graphic Design Lecturer-Part-Time Faculty The University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that values diversity and inclusivity. The School of Media and Design seeks part-time faculty candidates for Graphic Design Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in the Graphic Design BFA program. Responsibilities include: • Preparing course outlines and teaching based on approved departmental syllabi; • Delivering consistent, interactive lectures; • Preparing timely and meaningful assessments for assigned courses; • Collaborating with departmental faculty to ensure standard curriculum outcomes are met; • Adhering to UIW policies and procedures; • Maintaining respectful relationships with faculty, staff, and students; • Participating in meetings and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Communication Design; • Three to five years of experience working within the field of Graphic Design; • Ability to effectively learn, use, and incorporate instructional technology into teaching; • Flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend sections as needed; • Ability to work collegially and productively within the university community; • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
