Graphic Design Manager

The Graphic Design Manager will also be an individual contributor using their skills in graphic design and art direction to guide major projects with complex deliverables such as planning documents public engagement and websites. Qualifications of a Graphic Design Manager: • Expert typography layout and information design skills • Degree in graphic design preferred or equivalent relevant graphic design experience in lieu of a degree • At least 8 years of hands-on experience specifically in graphic design positions (including internships) • At least 2 years of supervisory experience • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint) • Experience writing proposals and creating budgets • Exceptional organizational skills detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds experience levels and disciplines • Demonstrated excellence with fostering relationships and bringing energy and passion to exciting projects • Comfort delivering actionable critiques with empathy while maintaining a high standard for your teams work • Ability to work on a PC operating system Youll be great here if: • Proficiency with any of the following would be an asset: illustration web design rendering architectural diagramming or cartography • You have experience collaborating with other design disciplines such as landscape design architecture or urban design • You have experience with resource planning • You have experience working with a distributed team We are offering a salary range of $80000.00-$90000.00 for this position with some flexibility for well-qualified applicants.
