Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yrRole OverviewThis role is responsible for evolving and maintaining brand standards, ensuring consistency in graphic communications, and producing high-quality design work that supports architectural, interior, urban design, and marketing initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Graphic Design Manager oversees internal and external design efforts, manages templates and digital assets, drives creative storytelling through print, digital, motion, and interactive formats, and leads a team of designers while managing projects from concept to completion to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in design systems, production workflows, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with a strong foundation in the AEC industry.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Standards/ManagementLead the development and evolution of CBT brand standards and visual identity, including design and documentation; ensure that these standards are implemented consistently throughout the firmCreate a cohesive visual representation that encompasses multiple narratives to bring a consistent graphic narrative to diverse projects, teams, and projectsPartner with Marketing Director to create cohesive templates for business development and marketing collateral, including proposals, brochures, booklets, and presentationsOversee internal/firmwide graphic communications, including emails, digital displays, and intranetDevelop and implement design processes and standards to streamline workflows and maintain consistency across projects and teams, including graphic templates, tools, and digital asset librariesEnsure that all design work aligns with the firm's brand and enhances its visual identity across all formats, media, and platforms including (print, digital, animation, illustration, typography, photography, and creative strategy)Design & ProductionPresent creative ideas and designs clearly and professionally in line with specific project goals and the vision for architectural, interior design, marketing, and urban design initiatives; execute on these ideasStrategize with CBT’s Marketing Department on design and workflow for standard and custom marketing materials, including proposals, brochures, booklets, and presentations; monitor the application of these standardsDevelop visual content within graphic design team for the website, social media, and other external-facing channelsCollaborate with architectural, urban design, and interior design teams to produce imagery/illustrations/diagrams, reports, and presentationsEdit and retouch photographs and videosExperience, Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or similarMinimum 8 years’ professional experiencePrevious experience with Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry preferredMastery of Adobe Suite including but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoshopStrong typography, layout and conceptual skillsFamiliarity in motion graphics and video editingExceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and consensus-building skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and meet tight deadlinesAbility to design for web and interactive experiences.Familiarity with MS Office including Word and PowerPointFluency in Windows OS; CBT is a Windows OS-only officeSubmit resume and portfolioThe compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000, as defined by CBT’s compensation structure.
