GRAPHIC DESIGN & MARKETING ASSISTANT CONTRACTOR

**Position Title: Graphic Design & Marketing Assistant Contractor** **Reports to: Marketing & Communications Director** **Location: San Rafael** **Hours: 10-15 hours/week** **Compensation: $35/hour** **BACKGROUND** The Agricultural Institute of Marin is an educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in San Rafael, California. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Create visual text and imagery concepts * Design brochures, signs, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials * Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions * Perform retouching and manipulation of images * Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software * Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule ### Requirements * Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Design, Marketing/Communications or related field * Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and ensure follow-through on all tasks & projects * Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and the web * Excellent attention to detail * Thinks creatively and strategically Apply Here PI172551071
