Production Assistant / Graphic Designer

Pay Range: $23 - $28 per hour

What You'll Do

Production Assistant

Working alongside our Vinyl Department Lead, you'll help keep projects moving from concept to completion by:

Preparing production files for photopolymer equipment, large-format printers, and vinyl plotters
Operating large-format printers, laminators, vinyl plotters, and related production equipment
Performing quality inspections on artwork, files, and finished products to ensure exceptional quality
Assisting with vinyl production and finishing processes
Reading and interpreting production drawings and custom sign specifications
Staging materials and coordinating workflow between departments
Performing routine equipment maintenance and helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Supporting production schedules while helping deliver projects on time
Participating in production meetings and assisting with communication across departments
Following all company safety policies and procedures

Graphic Design

As you grow into the creative side of the role, you'll also:

Design impactful interior signage and environmental graphics
Create scaled fabrication drawings and production-ready artwork
Develop visual renderings that help customers envision the finished product
Work with typography, branding, color, and layout
Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Create scaled drawings using CAD tools or similar software
Learn ADA regulations and signage code requirements
Manage multiple design priorities while meeting deadlines
Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and fellow designers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign (Required)
Large-format printing (Required)
Vinyl graphics or sign production (Required)
CAD tools or similar drafting software
ADA signage
Print production or fabrication
