Cascadia Consulting Group is seeking a Graphic Design Project Coordinator to work as a core member of Cascadia’s creative services team, using graphic design, document layout, and production skills to develop effective, inclusive marketing and outreach materials that meet audiences where they are. Examples of everyday tasks may include: • Designing attractive, accessible, branded templates in Word, PPT, and InDesign for use by project teams • Testing and remediating PDF documents to comply with ADA Accessibility standards • Collaborating with project teams to conceptualize, design, and produce outreach and engagement materials, such as postcards, factsheets, posters, and flyers • Applying fundamental design principles to make plans and reports more readable and engaging • Performing final formatting and clean-up in Word, PPT, and InDesign to support quality assurance on a wide range of deliverables • Supporting colleagues in learning and applying best practices in their design and development of work products The experience and education typical to demonstrate this level of ability is a four-year degree in a related field (e.g., graphic design) or 3-4 years of relevant experience and progressive responsibility. Your work samples should highlight your ability to work in both sophisticated design platforms (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) as well as common desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Canva).
