You are a thoughtful, imaginative designer who can turn a business challenge into a compelling visual idea. You care about typography, composition, and detail, and you can explain how your design choices support the strategy.

You are comfortable managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with people who bring different perspectives.

Three to five years of graphic design experience in an agency or corporate creative environment.

A strong portfolio demonstrating creative concepts, brand identity development and effective design across print and digital media.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to carry projects from initial concept through final production, including preparing accurate files for printers, fabricators, and digital platforms.

The ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a collaborative creative team.

Experience with motion graphics, video, presentation design, website design, or WordPress is a plus.

Collaborate with the creative director, writers, designers, and account teams to develop work that differentiates clients and supports their business objectives.

Translate brand positioning and messaging into distinctive, consistent visual communications.

Concept and design brand identities, advertising campaigns, brochures, executive briefs, presentations, trade show graphics and other marketing materials.

Create digital assets for social media, email campaigns, online advertising, and websites.

Develop and apply brand guidelines across multiple formats and channels.

Present creative concepts and explain the thinking behind your recommendations.

Manage revisions, incorporate feedback, and maintain quality through final execution.

This is a full-time, ONSITE position at The Cirlot Agency’s Jackson, Mississippi, headquarters. Remote engagements are not an option. Do not apply if you are looking for a remote opportunity.

Role Description: The Graphic Designer will create visual concepts and designs that support brand strategy, integrated communications, and public affairs initiatives for a wide range of clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing marketing and campaign materials, developing logos and brand identities, producing digital and print graphics, and preparing files for production. The role involves collaborating with account teams, writers, and other creative professionals to ensure design solutions align with client objectives and brand guidelines. The Graphic Designer will participate in concept development, refine layouts and typography, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jackson, MS.

Candidates should possess strong skills in Graphic Design and creating professional Graphics for digital and print media.

Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding to develop and maintain cohesive visual identities for clients.

Candidates should possess skills in Typography and layout design to produce clear, engaging, and visually consistent materials.

Candidates should be proficient in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Candidates should demonstrate a strong portfolio showcasing brand work, marketing collateral, and campaign design.

Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
