GRAPHIC DESIGN & SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

ABOUT THE ROLE

BHG is looking for a Graphic Design & Social Media Coordinator to work directly with our Brand Manager/Social Media Manager, supporting both the visual design and social media presence of all BHG brands. This is a hands-on, in office/in location role for someone who thinks like a junior designer as much as a social media creator — comfortable building on-brand graphics and marketing materials as well as filming, editing, and publishing short-form video content for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

This is a great fit for a college student or recent college grad looking to earn extra money while building a strong design and social portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Design graphics, marketing collateral, and social assets (posts, stories, thumbnails, flyers, signage, and other brand materials) for all BHG brands
Film, edit, and publish short-form video content for TikTok, YouTube (including YouTube Shorts) & Instagram as needed
Collaborate closely with the Brand Manager/Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer on design direction, content ideas, brand voice, posting calendars, and overall brand strategy
Stay on top of design trends and TikTok/YouTube/IG trends, sounds, and formats, and help adapt them to fit BHG's brands
Write social captions, hooks, on-screen text, video titles, and other short-form marketing copy while maintaining brand voice
Assist with light community management, including replying to comments/DMs, engaging with relevant content, and escalating necessary items to the brand manager
Support other design, social media, and content projects as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Graphic design experience (personal projects, coursework, freelance, or professional all count) with a portfolio that shows your design eye
Canva proficiency required; experience with Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator preferred but not required. Video editing experience in social platforms or editing software such as CapCut, Canva, etc.
Comfortable writing social captions, hooks, on-screen text, video titles, and other short-form marketing copy while maintaining brand voice
Must work well on the fly and be a self-starter: able to pivot priorities, capture content with little notice, react to trends, and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to pitch ideas and identify content opportunities independently, not just execute assignments
Able to work with front-of-house & back-of-house teams to gather content
Comfortable managing files, drafts, calendars, and deadlines across multiple design and content projects, while also taking creative feedback and making revisions quickly
Working knowledge of TikTok and YouTube
Reliable and able to work in-office during scheduled hours
Currently enrolled in college, or a recent grad looking to build design and social media experience
A design portfolio and/or TikTok/YouTube/IG account or reel showcasing past work is strongly encouraged
