Graphic Design Specialist

Graphics Design Specialist Responsibilities: • Create visually compelling designs for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, email, direct mail letters, newsletters and website assets • Collaborate with the Media and Development team to develop creative concepts and design solutions • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate the organization's message • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines • Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices Requirements and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field OR 3+ Years experience with graphic design preferred • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creative skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus • Passion for our mission and vision • Represent the ZOE culture • Ability to understand and communicate the voice, brand and values of the organization • Can adhere to deadlines / timelines • Always learning and staying up to date with best Graphic Design practices • Good written and verbal skills • Ability to think creatively, adapt efficiently, problem-solve, and be organized • Ability to tell stories through content creation • Willingness to begin as contractor with option of moving full-time Technical Requirements: • Animation proficiency • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) • Knowledge of print production and file prep • Website design (preferred) Benefits for full-time staff include (part-time benefits vary): • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance
