Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Typesetting - adjusting existing customer documentation with updated graphics and information and formatting for print. • Graphic design - creating designs for clients, such as flyers, business cards, marketing materials, signs, posters etc • Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions • Create print or digital media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and other various techniques • Develop material for Internet web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects • Remain up to date on changing trends in the graphic design industry • Interpret customer requests and turn ideas into tangible products • Actively communicate with clients to understand and deliver design material to their satisfaction • Coordinate social media efforts to strengthen brand recognition Competencies: • Adobe Creative Suite mastery required (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop essential) • Proficient in both MAC and PC. • Variable Data • Experience working with Fiery and Onyx for digital and wide format imposition • Ability to digitally file documents and working files for easy recovery • Experience in creating digital storefronts preferable • Excellent command of English spelling and grammar.
