Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Provide graphic designer support services to a U.S. Federal Government customer • Provide support in updating and developing visual communications artifacts using the most current graphic design methods and standards • Participate and assist in creating, designing, and managing several communications projects that inform senior-level leaders within VA, colleagues, and with external customers • Provide copywriting, technical writing, proofing, editing, social media content creation, basic data analysis, graphic design, visual design, and video editing services • Create visual concepts by hand or using computer applications to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate an audience • Plan, design, and produce graphic exhibits, including artistic considerations using technical knowledge and skills in both physical and electronic form • Design for a variety of products and activities, including website, advertisements, books, posters, product packaging, exhibitions, magazines, pamphlets, and displays • Design corporate communications and corporate identity (such as award programs, summits, and meetings) that require the organization’s visual brand Professional CertificationsNoneYears of Professional Experience2+ years’ experienceDesired experiencePrevious federal government experience strongly preferredFormal EducationBA/BS degreeCitizenship RequirementU.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunitySecurity Clearance RequirementsMust possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI)CRITICAL NOTES: • SSG will not make assumptions regarding your qualifications.
