Graphic Design Specialist (Contract)

Gensco, Inc. is a successful HVAC wholesale distributor and manufacturer doing business in the Northwest for over 70 years. Gensco currently has a position opening for a Graphic Design Specialist within our Marketing Department. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication, problem-solving and time management skills as well as being open to direction from fellow Team Members and Customers. -Manage the selling and execution of ad placements within Chronicle -Design, obtain Gensco approvals, proof and send to print (third party partner) -Maintain mailing list of over 5,000 addresses -Submit to Accounting for co-op as ads are purchased -Business & Sales Training Schedule Support – annual -Develop two versions of Training Books (Trane/AMS) -Develop two versions of Dealer Growth Program (Trane/AMS for each year of program) -Technical Training Schedule – quarterly -Service Parts Promotions Support (Fall/Spring) -Work with Service Parts to determine product feature list -Design and create two editions of the promotion catalog (spring and fall), obtain Gensco approvals, proof and send to print -Support in the setup of online version for GenscoCustome.com -Customer Trip Brochures Support -Gensco Catalog Production Support -Comfort Essentials/System Enhancements Support -Custom created dealer brochure -Less than a week turnaround time to dealer’s needs -Work with Web Developer to maintain design standards as needed -Communicate final proof to each dealer -Work with Accounting to invoice for service/brochure -Dealer Meeting Print Collateral and Signage Support -Design signage as need for branches or sales team support -Sales and Managers Meeting Print Collateral and Signage Support -Collection and organization of vendor logos and product images -Graphic design of Gensco ‘HVAC’ Clothing -Fulfil orders when orders are placed -Manage inventory levels on hand -Manage printer/copier in Marketing -Manage repair, supplies and inventory needed to keep equipment running -Video/Photography as needed for -College Degree in Graphic Design required -Appropriate prior work experience -Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve appropriately -Very proficient with operating a personal computer and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software -Very proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and Photoshop -Very proficient in printing processes including layout -Have basic Web design knowledge -Strong project management skills -Strong decision making abilities - understands impact and implications of decisions -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment -Demonstrated ability to organize and get the job done -Able to communicate with the public in person and on the phone -Able to work sitting or standing and move freely throughout the facility(s) -Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and inventory on a frequent basis
