Graphic Design Specialist

Graphic Design PositionETS is a global education and talent solutions organization enabling lifelong learners worldwide to be future-ready. Role is responsible for creating graphics for programs and projects. Create high-quality artwork for tests and test-related products. Assess requests for graphics and respond to inquiries from Assessment Development staff.

Basic Functions and Responsibilities:

Assess requests for graphics and respond to inquiries from Assessment Development staffProvide clear production updates to the Project Lead and Supervisor of current workflow which includes volume, estimations for task completion, and issues impacting completion durationCommunicate with Content to discuss queries of Art production and provides basic guidance for art style, layout, and universal design while adhering to project specificationsEnsures that newly created art is proofed against art requests to check for quality and accuracyStrictly follows documented procedures for creation and revision of artShares and contributes to general team and department knowledge as it relates to shortcuts, efficiencies, and expands upon overall department understanding of software skills and techniquesLearns and works in proprietary and partner item banking systemsUnderstands file management and works between various and unique testing programsUnderstands and adheres to diversified style and technical specifications between numerous testing programsMeets established deadlines and internal milestones or as directed by supervisor or project schedulesGenerates report information for assigned projects and as requested by SupervisorsCoordinates with external vendors for technical specifications, needs, and capabilities; communicates needs and capabilities to vendors accurately and clearly to ensure that all file handoffs are completed according to established processes, and that materials provided are all in accord with client specificationsAssists Sr. Graphic Design Specialist, Graphic Design Specialist Lead and Supervisor in coordination of vendor workAdheres to ethical standards and complies with the laws and regulations applicable to the job functionEducation: Associates Degree in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Commercial Art, or Graphics Arts is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired, is necessary.

Experience: Minimum one year of graphic design experience is required.

Other Requirements:

Working knowledge of latest versions of graphics software, including Photoshop and IllustratorUnderstanding of tools and techniques used to create and manipulate various types of artworkKnowledge of typography, graphic design, color theory, printing, and information designAbility to work as part of teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to accomplish tasks within scheduled deadlines and budgets under pressureAbility to understand project managementETS is mission driven and action oriented. Salary: USD 42000 - 84000 per year
