Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Design Specialist role based in Orange, CT. The Graphic Design Specialist will create and refine visual concepts for signs, banners, vehicle graphics, window displays, and other branded materials. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with sales and production teams and clients to understand all requirements, developing design layouts, and preparing print-ready and production-ready files. The role involves logo and brand adaptation, image editing, color correction, and ensuring designs meet material and fabrication specifications. The Graphic Design Specialist will also communicate with clients as needed to review proofs, incorporate feedback, and ensure final designs align with brand guidelines and project timelines.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to translate client needs into clear, effective visual concepts.Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including developing or adapting visual identities for consistent use across signage and marketing materials.Proficiency in Image Editing, including retouching, resizing, and optimizing artwork for print and large-format output.Hands-on experience with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign SAi Flexi, Microsoft Word & Excel).Understanding of print and production processes, file preparation, color modes, and resolution requirements for signage.Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to receive and integrate feedback from clients and colleagues.Previous experience in sign-making, large-format printing, or a related field is preferred but not required.Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related discipline is beneficial.
