Graphic Design Specialist I

By joining the Clover Learning team, you'll be playing an essential role in shaping the future of online healthcare education! The Graphic Design Specialist I participates in design critiques with teammates and subject matter experts. What You Will Do • Report to and work with the Creative Director on creative production for all projects • Deliver high quality storyboards and video designs according to project timelines • Produce storyboards based on provided scripts and in collaboration with instructional designers and subject matter experts • Produce video designs using the Adobe Suite and other industry-leading software for educational content related to healthcare and STEM • Participate in mentorship from design team leads regarding technical skills and workload management • Organize and manage all files according to the Clover Learning file structure • Create designs using the Adobe Creative Suite and other creative production software services • Create designs for use in storyboards, video content, website content, marketing material, and other company uses • Prepare files for use in various media types including online-based content • Participate in professional development and team growth opportunities • Report progress to Production Manager in weekly production meetings • Create content which aligns with the established Clover Learning brand image • Collaborate with all members of the content development team • Manage daily workload and tasks using Trello, Frame.io, and Dropbox • Learn concepts related to featured subject matter in order to effectively explain them through graphic design • Learn and utilize best practices for creating educational videos • Work with external partners to create video content when necessary Required Skills • 1 year of relevant professional experience • Experience in video content creation is a plus • Experience with design methods including digital illustration, layering and layout • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Illustrator • Intermediate experience in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign • In-depth knowledge of working in the RGB color space with basic knowledge of the CMYK color space • Excellent organization and communication skills • Strong focus on timeliness and motivation to meet deadlines • A collaborative mindset and ability to adjust to varying production needs • Ability to manage a workload independently • Ability to manage numerous design projects and deadlines simultaneously • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Creative thinker and problem solver Benefits Clover Learning is unable to sponsor visas or provide relocation packages at this time
