Is this a work study job? • Using editing software to finalize designs • Suggesting and making improvements to images and image quality in print and digital formats • Preparing press-ready files based on the supplied specifications • Following development timelines to ensure projects are completed on time • Troubleshooting any problems with the design team and the printer • Cataloging graphics for future projects • Following up with leadership to ensure expectations have been met • Keeping up to date with graphic design trends, techniques, and software • Knowledge of printing processes • Multitasking skills and time management • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum Qualifications • Current Student within the University of Utah system working towards a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Illustration, or a related area • 1-2 years of classwork or non-professional experience working with the Adobe Creative Cloud software • Able to effectively communicate creative concepts and interact with brainstorming sessions • Creative mindset • Good communicator • Ability to collaborate with a team • Meet deadlines and a commitment to provide excellent customer service The University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in the education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX and 34 CFR part 106.
