• Oversees design team conformance with state and federal digital accessibility standards; ensuring all design processes and products are as accessible as possible. • Develops, maintains and updates standards for all aspects of video production, including audio, B-roll, still images, typography, music, motion graphics, captions and accessibility; prepares video templates; ensures Graphic Designers adhere to team standards. • Supervising the graphic design team; • Creating and ensuring the proper use of templates for use by Graphic Designers and organizationwide staff; • Establishing graphic design team practices, procedures and objectives; • Overseeing training and professional development opportunities for the graphic design team; • Assigning, reviewing and approving the work products of the Graphic Designers; • Assisting the Communications Manager with project intake, coordination and approval; • Developing, curating and recommending any expansion of the agency’s visual identity. • Basic principles, methods and materials of assigned work. • Practices, concepts and methods of graphic design and print production.
