Graphic Design Supervisor

**Overview:** The Graphic Design Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the graphic design team at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and illustration, experience in leading and supervising a team, and excellent communication and project management skills. **Responsibilities:** • Plan, organize, and coordinate the design team's work to ensure effective and efficient project execution • Oversee project execution, quality control, and client communication • Maintain SFO's brand standards and ensure consistency across all design materials • Supervise and train a team of illustrators, graphic designers, web designers, and graphic aides • Create graphic designs and illustrations for various media, including web pages, presentations, signage, publications, internal communications, newsletters, brochures, reports, and marketing campaigns • Communicate and present design and brand reviews with the design team, brand manager, and relevant departments and clients • *Qualifications:** • Minimum Qualifications: + Six (6) years of professional experience in illustration and graphic art design, including web design + Possession of a valid driver's license • Substitution: + An associate in arts degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in graphic art or design may substitute for two years of the above experience + 30 semester units/45 quarter units may substitute for one year of experience • Desirable Qualifications: + One (1) or more years of leading or supervising a team + Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university + Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to design, edit, and prepare visual materials for print and digital + Experience implementing design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout best practices + Strong oral and written communication skills + Strong organizational and project management skills • *Benefits:** • Competitive annual compensation range: $104,286 - $126,828 • Opportunity to work for a world-class, award-winning airport with a diverse range of stakeholders • Collaborative and dynamic work environment • Professional development opportunities • Comprehensive employee benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and more
