Graphic Design Team Leader

Responsible for leading the visual design and creative execution of marketing and communications materials across the J. Lead design execution for all print and digital marketing and communications materials Translate messaging and content into clear, effective, and on-brand visual design Develop and produce creative assets for campaigns, programs, events, and organizational initiatives Ensure consistency of brand identity, visual standards, and design systems across all materials Provide creative direction on layout, typography, and visual composition to elevate design quality Develop templates and visual systems to improve design consistency and efficiency Ensure all creative deliverables meet brand, quality, and accessibility standards Support event signage, promotional materials, and environmental design needs Manage multiple design projects and deadlines simultaneously Review and finalize design work prior to distribution or production handoff Partner with production and operations team members to ensure accurate file handoff and execution readiness Provide creative problem-solving support for campaign and content development Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred 5+ years of professional graphic design experienceStrong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design workExcellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchyStrong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of brand standards and visual consistencyStrong communication skills with the ability to interpret messaging into effective visual designHigh attention to detail and commitment to design qualityPhotography and videography experience preferred, but not requiredFocus is strictly on visual design, brand execution, and creative asset development Louis Jewish Community Center (the J) is a multigenerational gathering place that enriches lives, builds community, and creates meaningful Jewish experiences for individuals and families across the St. Serving both the Jewish community and the broader public, the J offers educational, cultural, social, identity-building, and recreational programs at its campuses in Creve Coeur and Chesterfield and at Camp Sabra at the Lake of the Ozarks.
