This position is responsible for creating engaging visual content, from concept to production, for Kansas Athletics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly blend design, photography, and videography to produce compelling visual content.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign high-quality graphics for digital, social, and print platforms.Create engaging visual content that aligns with brand identity.Capture and produce photo and video content for various platforms.Collaborate with internal teams to bring creative concepts to life.Edit and deliver content on tight deadlines.Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Photoshop and IllustratorWorking knowledge of videography, including shooting and editingExperience with Sony camera systems (preferred)Proven experience working in a fast-paced production environmentSolid understanding of composition, lighting, and storytellingCreative, detail-oriented, and highly organizedAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to turn around high-quality graphics quickly under tight deadlinesStrong communication and collaboration skillsWillingness to travel as neededFlexibility to work nights and weekends in support of events and deadlinesPreferred Qualifications Experience in an athletics environmentMotion graphics or animation experienceSocial media content strategy knowledgeAbout Kansas AthleticsKansas Athletics, Inc. is a not for profit corporation which was organized in 1925 to foster development of intercollegiate athletics in conjunction with the educational activities of the University of Kansas.
