Required Skills & Knowledge \\- 2 + years graphic design experience with portfolio of work \\- Solid understanding of design and color theory with ability to discuss with peers and clients \\- Extremely fluent in Photoshop and Illustrator \\- Excellent typing, e-mail, and written communication skills \\- Friendly and competent communication in person and on the phone with clients and coworkers \\- Comfortable talking with, advising, and inquiring with customers about design and products \\- Excellent organizational skills and eye for details (When posting your resume, please type "Aardvark" in the subject heading) \\- Ability to self-manage project timelines and deadlines both internally and with clients \\- Ability to problem solve when not given all the information needed to complete a task \\- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple distractions \\- Ability to design under deadline and with quick turnaround times \\- Ability to learn a cloud based estimating system \\- Basic mathematical calculations in the context of pricing, estimating, and measurements \\- Competence with computers, typing, online research, and data organization \\- Ability to lift 50 lbs and do something with it \\- Full spectrum color perception (not color blind) Skill bonuses, but not required \\- Business to business customer service experience \\- Large format printing, sign making, or wrap industry knowledge \\- Illustration \\- CorelDRAW, InDesign competency Job duties \\- Graphic Design: Including but not limited to vehicle graphics, tradeshow displays, banners, posters, wayfinding, collateral, logos and other various projects \\- Put together quotes, proofs and work orders \\- Evaluate client supplied digital files and prep for printing \\- Meet clients in person to discuss their projects, evaluate and measure vehicles, and review proofs \\- Maintain regular e-mail communication with clients \\- Collaborate with production and installation team members about file set-up and project details \\- Occasionally do deliveries, on-site visits and other errands \\- Backup to answer phones and general inquiries \\- Assist with other internal projects as needed Work Hours M-F, 8:45 -- 5:15 (30-minute unpaid lunch break) = 40 hrs / week Harris Design & Print offers paid holidays and Personal Time Off/Sick days Please send resume, cover letter, and portfolio to Jody Harris (No phone calls)
