Responsibilities Produce outstanding designs for identity systems, ads, websites, displays, signage, and more Generate exceptional creative concepts Collaborate with a group of designers, developers, and marketing specialists, clearly, and consistently Research and discover new design trends and technologies Continuously challenge and push yourself as a designer Qualifications * An outstanding online portfolio (including print and digital experience) Have an “eagle eye” attention to detail Strong experience in the adhering to brand guidelines Experience working directly with clients regarding project details, objectives, and goals At least 5 years of experience designing original projects for a range of clients, industries, and applications Vast experience with logo &identity; development and collateral systems Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator and InDesign Experience with UX / UI, and a strong appreciation for best practices in web design Thorough knowledge of print and digital processes and best practices Proactive communication &collaboration; habits Strong verbal and written communication skills Creative, imaginative, active, solution-oriented approach to tasks and challenges Strong organizational skills as well as focused attention to detail High energy, hard-working, and ability to juggle multiple priorities The desire and self-motivation to grow as a designer and team member A super positive attitude Experience designing for transit-related projects a plus What You’ll Get A flexible work environment – including “leave early Fridays” Work from home time negotiable Time off with pay the week between Christmas and New Year’s Competitive compensation based on experience Paid Time Off (increases every year) Generous Healthcare Allowance Short and Long-Term Disability plus ADD Life Insurance SIMPLE IRA with matching contribution (FREE money) Weekly Employee Lunches (FREE Food) Quarterly Community Service Projects/Outings (FREE Fun) Competitive compensation based on experience.
