Graphic Designer

Memorial Products is a fast-growing, family-owned business specializing in print and design services for the funeral industry. We are looking to hire a Graphic Designer to join our team! You will fit in well here if you work well in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and are able to multitask in an environment with shifting priorities. Design Responsibilities/ Job Requirements (80% of time) • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design preferred *Entry level designers and those with equivalent/relevant experience will be considered with a strong portfolio of work • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Photoshop (daily), InDesign (daily), and Illustrator (limited use) • Demonstrated photo editing/retouching/manipulation skills • Strong sense of typography and composition • Ability to make educated design decisions based on the target audience, regardless of personal design style, as well as receive and learn from constructive criticism • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and peers • Eagerness to learn new design techniques and processes Work Hours & Benefits: • Monday - Friday 9:00a - 5:30p • Saturday overtime rotation required (One Saturday per month (9a - 2pm) with optional day off rotation or above standard overtime pay rate) • Health & Dental Insurance • 2 weeks paid-time off, 1 week paid sick time and 8 paid holidays • 401k w/ match
