Graphic Designer

Some of our major customers served include such well known retailers as AutoZone, O'Reilly, Amazon, and Costco. This person will assist in graphic-related activities in the planning and product development lifecycle. _____________________________________________________________________________ Position responsibilities \\- Design and produce production-level product packaging for the retail and industrial market \\- Design and produce marketing material for print and digital distribution such as websites, e-catalog, and social medias \\- Develop mock-ups, renderings, prototypes, plan-o-grams, presentations that satisfies customer’s needs \\- Assist in all graphic-related activities o Create graphic materials from concepts to completion o Applying brand standards consistently to all materials produced \\- Collaborate with team members, department manager, sales managers, and vendors to set project priorities, problem solve, organize, and communicate to meet both customer’s demands and deadlines \\- May also perform photography/video work to include post processing, editing, organizing, arranging, and maintaining photo/video library Minimum Preferred Skills: \\- Possess strong cognitive skills including thinking outside the box, analysis, problem solving, high attention to detail, and decision making \\- Experience with retail packaging design \\- Ability to follow, prioritize, adhere, and execute multiple assignments with concurrent strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment \\- Possess excellent relationship building skills and communication skills with staff, vendors, and customers \\- Ability to work with minimal supervision and independent judgment as well as collaboratively with other staff members \\- Ability to know how to effectively work with diverse personalities \\- Demonstrate flexibility to changing demands \\- High level of creativity a must Minimum Preferred Technical Skills: \\- 1-2 years of design experience as graphic designer or equivalent professional role \\- High level in understanding design principles, typography, and artwork packaging \\- Proficient with design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) \\- Familiar in a Mac OSX environment \\- Solid understanding of print production (prepress and various printing processes) \\- Above-average photography knowledge \\- Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook \\- ** Be prepared to show portfolio of past products Desired Qualifications but not required \\- Automotive Aftermarket, heavy DIY experience in hand tool, power tools, shop equipment and other tool product- related knowledge \\- Videography experience \\- Marketing experience with Amazon a plus but not required \\- Experience working directly with retailers or other large customers Compensation \\- Pay DOE \\- Hybrid schedule or remote within reasonable accommodations \\- Generous Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
