Graphic Designer

Job description Designers primary responsibility will be designing and drawing various forms of signage, from interior graphics to exterior wall signs, monument signs, and other custom jobs. This will include making production files for CNC Laser, CNC Router, Printers, Plotter and Water Jet Machine. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication and organization skills. The position demands a high level of coordination and cooperation with other internal and sometimes external parties. Requirements A complete knowledge of Illustrator or Vectorworks The ability to make quick assessments on design direction The ability to change pace and prioritize projects on the fly A thorough understanding of signage manufacturing, structures and attachment methods Excellent organizational skills: Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within an agreed upon timeframe through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively Establish and maintain organized and complete project files Establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross- functional teams (Sales, Design, Permitting, Production, Installation, Suppliers, Contractors, Marketing, Accounting, and Vendors) Utilize company defined workflows and authorized electronic platforms for customer relations and project management Pay is based on experience Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Houston, TX 77092: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Required) Organizational skills: 1 year (Required) Project management: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: One location
