GRAPHIC DESIGNER

In this role the designer will create product artwork, edit and organize artwork files related to ongoing products within our existing wheelhouse and will have the opportunity to spearhead new and very exciting projects/licences for the company. The candidate must be able to work with our factories on artwork and product approvals while being able to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Packaging / Graphic Designer experience · Beauty / Bath and Body and Gift packaging experience · Licensed Product experience · Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel · Mechanical cad drawing experience · Photography / Retouching skills · Communicating with overseas factories for sample approval process · Maintain and update showroom display · Assist sales team in customer meetings · Assist with trend boards / visual sales tools · Keep files, materials, samples and files organized and readily available (on server and print) About us Based in NYC, for more than half a century Shalom international has been a leading importer and distributor in fashion jewelry, hair accessories, hosiery and most recently cosmetics.
