Graphic Designer

Faulkner University is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Graphic Designer for the University Marketing department. A variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects may be used. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. Summary of Duties: • Work with faculty/staff with daily graphic design requests • Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products • Organize and create various logos, graphics, brochures, postcards and other type of requests on a daily basis • Manage day-to-day graphic design needs for the university • Work with on-site print vendor and outside printers/vendors to produce the highest quality publications • Coordinate and assemble photographs and stories for the Faulkner Magazine • Assist with ensuring that production and distribution schedule is promptly met for the magazine • Assist with activities related to crisis response, including posting of alerts and updates to the website, blogs and social media However, Faulkner University exercises a preference in employment for those qualified applicants who are members of the churches of Christ whose lifestyles are consistent with the mission of the University and with the beliefs and values of the churches of Christ.
