Graphic Designer

Creates, reviews, and prepares final files based on approved designs using the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) that are within brand standards and align with print and digital specifications. Partners with the external ad agency, freelancers, and vendors to acquire files, assets, and templates, and share and release project files that meet brand quality standards in an effective and time-efficient manner Ensures that the overall look and feel of the print and digital marketing materials are best in class, aesthetically pleasing, consistent, and compelling while adhering to our brand standards and ensuring files are production ready. 2+ years’ experience as a production artist required' 2+ years’ experience in graphic design required Portfolio that includes print and digital pieces required Graphic design and production experience within an agency or in-house firm preferred 2+ years’ experience in graphic design Skilled in proactively communicating relevant project information and status updates to team and management Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign and MacOS Basic HTML5, CSS3, WordPress, Java Script Proficient in print and digital production standards Demonstrated eye for detail, layout, color, and typography Demonstrated ability with, creating and translating brand guidelines Ability to carry out the execution of a design concept across various formats including print and digital assets. Demonstrated knowledge of print production standards Experience working with POP design, print marketing materials, large format printing, packaging, digital ads, website assets and social media content Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook Advanced professional or theoretical knowledge and fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities Basic understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures Advanced understanding of departmental structure and policies with basic understanding of the cross-functional structure and policies of Whataburger Restaurants LLC Advanced ability to delegate tasks and get work done through others Ability to prepare and present information to guests, more senior associates, vendors, and management
