Graphic Designer

Application review and interviews to be conducted starting March 25, with an anticipated start date of June 5 and end date of August 17. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design and production of online content and print projects for Williamstown Theatre Festival to use throughout the season. This includes but is not limited to, print and digital media such as signage, flyers, posters, social media graphics, email newsletters, and website graphics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Overseeing the production and design of the season/show programs, comprehensive publications produced throughout the summer that include advertisements, editorial content, donor lists, production information, and institutional information • Working with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator to design and create posters, print ads, e-blasts, event invitations, postcards, web/video graphics, and more • Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications team to understand project objectives and deliverables • Creating visually appealing and effective designs that accurately reflect the Festival's brand and messaging • Managing tight print production deadlines and timely information collection • Creating front-of-house signage • Diligent archiving of all season design content in collaboration with other members of the Marketing & Communications team • Collaborating with members of the Marketing & Communications team in the development of Festival content for all media channels • Producing work that is innovative, imaginative, original, and creative in character • Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure that all materials are delivered on time • Other duties as assigned • Embrace the Festival's commitment to EDIA and Anti-Racism by actively participating in and encouraging behaviors among staff members that exemplify respect; interrupting microaggressions and other behaviors that hinder our EDIA and Anti-Racism efforts; engaging in the diversification of the workforce; demonstrating a degree of cultural competency that encourages healthy relationships with all company members • Adhering to all Festival safety protocols is a plus • Strong interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and ability to multitask • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Ability to work independently and remotely • Passion for the performing arts and a desire to contribute to the success of the Williamstown Theatre Festival
