Designer you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:Essential Functions:Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.Maintain a cohesive vision for the Daniel Defense brand, encompassing visual elements, color schemes, typography, and design style.Create high-quality, attention-grabbing content for a wide range of materials, including social, tradeshows, eCommerce, packaging, and other marketing collateral.Oversee and participate in photoshoots and video productions, ensuring that all visual content aligns with the Daniel Defense brand and product positioning.Shepherd the Daniel Defense brand identity, ensuring consistency and coherence across all design elements.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to bring creative concepts to life and support their initiatives.Maintain a meticulous eye for detail to guarantee that all design materials meet high-quality standards and are free from errors.Adhere to industry-specific legal requirements and regulations, ensuring that all content is safe and compliant within the firearms sector.Stay updated on industry trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in design.Participate in the companys efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment while creating a positive work environment.Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by leadership.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field and 0-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the responsibilities of this role.Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the firearms or related industry.Exceptional creative and conceptual thinking skills.Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Xd.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Strong understanding of firearm safety and industry regulations.Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.Daniel Defense is an EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability employer and promotes a "Drug-Free Workplace.
