Essential Functions • Responsible for art direction and graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion, and delivery • Works closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team on all creative projects; personally, works on graphic development • Evolves and ensures consistency and integrity behind our company's brand and brand guidelines • Manages a production calendar and ensures on time delivery of projects; works closely with others in the Marketing Department to keep all marketing projects on track • Interprets company needs and develops concepts to suit specific guidelines while working within budget constraints • Manages and builds various email lists and launch campaigns • Supports the Marketing and Business Development teams in creating blood center materials • Advises stakeholders on all technical visual recommendations and/or issues • Interfaces with printers and various external suppliers • Possesses solid presentation, listening, and communication skills • Able to work quickly and efficiently • Strong organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects • Solution oriented, hard worker who is passionate about visual design and marketing • Proactive, with the ability to work well independently and as a team • Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to observe and learn • Takes direction well and able to excel in a highly collaborative work environment • Ensures all work consistently meets established brand standards and guidelines • Other duties as assigned or required Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising or related discipline • Demonstrated complete understanding of: • Color therapy and color relationships • Typographic terms that identify type forms and the specifications required to refer to typographic settings • Perspective and space relationships • Page composition and grid structures • Print production process and knowledge of production techniques • Web page and e-blast layout design and production • Demonstrated ability to: • Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time • Manage challenging situations and difficult stakeholders • Expert in various creative software packages • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Have a portfolio ready for review upon request • Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines • Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
