Graphic Designer

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts seeks a Graphic Designer r esponsible for developing and executing graphic design that strengthens Wolf Trap Foundation’s communications and marketing through the use of strong images, graphics, and layout in digital and print collateral. Work with the Assistant, Communications and Marketing to develop the production schedule and routing plan, proofing, and approvals. Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities • Stellar print and digital design skills • Proven proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign • Experience with HTML5, After Effects, and working knowledge of MS Office • Ability to create animated banners, design layout and templates for maximum usability and focus on user experience • Hands-on designer who can move from clearly defined and thoughtful concepts to design and delivery • Knowledge of prepress and experience working with printers • Excellent organization and communication skills • Must work well independently, as well as on a team • Must be able to multitask between small and large-scale projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere • Sensitivity and commitment to the mission of Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts Applicants who reside in any other state are required to relocate to Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia prior to starting work for Wolf Trap Foundation.
