Graphic Designer

Cincinnati Children’s is looking for an experienced designer to join our internal creative services team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of design principles, and experience executing in digital design spaces—bonus points if you have some experience in motion design (experience in print and other media is great too). Responsibilities • Act as design guardian for the Cincinnati Children’s brand, ensuring color, type and visual equities follow brand standards • Create, organize, structure and present well-considered design solutions that helps to meet client objectives • Deliver both strong ideas and a high level of craftsmanship across all elements of design • Have a good understanding of the creative process from brief through production • Organize and maintain design files and assets as needed • Review work from external partners and freelancers to ensure adherence to brand standards • Help to maintain an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration with a hybrid virtual team Have at least 3-5 years’ experience as a designer • Bring big ideas and clear thinking to meet our clients’ challenges in a uniquely creative way • Take pride in crafting engaging work with a demonstrated understanding of typographic and image-making skills • Be able to talk passionately and knowledgeably about the work with an understanding of the business challenges that design can solve • Hold a Bachelors degree in graphic design or similar and has high-level skills in key Adobe software (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator).
