The right candidate must demonstrate a willingness to look beyond the obvious solution, work smart, take personal initiative and on occasion work beyond the job description to meet the dynamic needs of our fast-paced and changing business. • Possess the skills and experience necessary to creatively and effectively communicate desired messaging through visual means • A solid understanding of the design process from discovery thru evaluation • Appreciation of good design principles and their application to brand communications • Highly attention to details and a “get it done” attitude • Ability to work proactively/efficiently even if direction may be limited • Ability to understand basic marketing briefs and apply design thinking accordingly • Identify and apply emerging design trends and associated new tools • Ability to understand and leverage brand standards and guidelines to ensure all work connects back to a singular focused brand strategy while remaining relevant to the specific communication • Ability to maintain a functioning and up to date library of cloud-based brand assets to ensure that they are consistent with brand positioning/values • In partnership with marketing leadership, contribute to the development of Rule 1’s visual strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives · 1-3 years of graphic design experience with a creative agency or consumer packaged goods, or services company · Have a well-rounded portfolio, which demonstrates abilities in print and digital work across different/multiple channels (advertising, signage, web, email, social media, etc.) Rule One proteins offers a variety of choices to meet the needs of our workforce, including the following:
