Under direction, performs a full range of graphic design and printing reproduction duties; designs and develops publication quality materials using industry standard graphics software; utilizes a variety of reprographics equipment in order to provide effective document reproduction services; and provides effective customer service at assigned counter area. Keep current with job skills relating to graphic arts software and state-of-the-art production techniques; research, update, acquire, and install new versions of software or plug-ins and develop cross application templates with existing software. The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties. Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office and print shop setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office and reprographic equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to verbally communicate to exchange information; to see in the normal visual range with or without correction; to possess visual acuity for preparation and design of documents; and the ability to distinguish color.
