General Responsibilities • Identifies basic and complex graphic design projects and performs research, conceptualizes design, sets timeline, and designs visual elements for use in a variety of marketing and communications needs, adhering to IU brand guidelines. • Regularly consults with marketing and communications staff and other key stakeholders to determine project needs and ensure graphic design elements align with strategy and objectives. • Designs the layout and format for digital and print graphic design content, including selection of colors, images, fonts, logos, and placement, for various marketing and communications needs, audiences, and platforms; may delegate basic design tasks to Graphic Design Assistant(s). This posting may be closed at any time at the discretion of the University, but will remain open for a minimum of 5 business days. Questions or complaints regarding Title IX may be referred to the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights or the university Title IX Coordinator.
