Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team! He/she would be the 3rd designer in the Art Department, creating graphics for commercial, retail and promotional printing needs. We've printed for The White House, Hard Rock Cafe, Yellowstone National Park, Applebee's and more, including local schools, hospitals, families, and businesses.This is not a remote or freelance position.Responsibilities:Create eye-catching graphics and engaging designsHandle orders for the designs from start to finishMaintain & archive digital & physical filesCommunicate with Customer Service, Screen... Print & Embroidery departments as neededSubmit proofs for project approvalRevise art as needed until approvalSend or print final art for productionCheck test prints for design & color accuracy; edit as needed for a quality printOccasionally talk with the client, in person or on the phone, to discuss the project in more detailUse our project management app (Trello) to keep art departmental work organized (requires: very quick/simple data entry, uploading proofs associated with each order including revised proofs and keeping the status of each order updated as it moves through the process. )Qualifications:REQUIRED: working knowledge of Adobe IllustratorWorking knowledge of Adobe Photoshop preferred, but not requiredPrevious experience in design for screen printing preferred, but not requiredWorking knowledge of Mac computers preferred, but not requiredFamiliarity with setting up designs for print preferred, but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlinesAbility to pay attention to detailsWork well with others, in a team environmentAdapt quickly to changesTime management & efficiency in your work is imperativeWilling to learnCompensation:This position will pay $15 to $25/hr, depending on experienceFull time: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with some potential overtimeWe are closed during the following holidays:1 week off for July 4th1 week off for Christmas2 days off for ThanksgivingJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Cairo, GA 39828: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Graphic Design: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
