What you would do in this job • Design highly effective printed and static digital Transit Information and wayfinding materials that meet accessibility and design best practice standards and improve the customer experience • Generate and maintain numerous maps using established standards • Execute updates to all customer information materials related to quarterly service changes • Use XML scripts to generate accurate timetables and signage • Update customer wayfinding and other signage • Collaborate with internal departments (Transit Information, Service Development, Revenue Operations, and Bus/Rail Transportation, etc.) What education and experience are required for this job (minimum qualifications) If you are already an employee of the Metropolitan Council, you must pass a drug test (if moving from a non-safety sensitive position to a safety-sensitive position) and criminal background checks if the job you're applying for is safety-sensitive, is a supervisory or management job, is in the Finance, Information Services, Audit, or Human Resources departments, or has access to financial records, files/databases, cash, vouchers or transit fare cards.
