· Analytical skills: Must be able to look at work from the point of view of target audiences and examine how the designs developed will be perceived by the audience to ensure the client’s desired message is conveyed · Artistic ability: Must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to clients and consumers, producing rough illustrations of design ideas, all with adherence to client brand standards and style guides. · Communication skills: Must communicate with Account team, Art Director and Creative Director to ensure that their designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information. · Creativity / Ideation: Must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers. Understanding of advertising campaigns is a must.
