Job Details SEA - Seattle, WA Full Time $28.00 - $34.00 Hourly DayDescription Candidates should have a wide range of design capabilities and experience, with a solid background in visual communications, commercial art, print, digital, photography, branding, and typography. In this fast-paced work environment, the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new project. Responsibilities: • Responsible for graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion, and delivery • Conceptualizes and produces graphics for all types of print and digital marketing, including product packaging, catalogs, and flyers • Presents design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approval • Works closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team on all creative projects, following the company’s brand guidelines • Interacts with Copywriter to develop creative concepts and executions • Works closely with Marketing Coordinator to keep all projects on track, utilizing project management software to monitor project progress/completion/concerns • Interprets company design needs and develops concepts to suit specific guidelines while working within budget constraints • Attention to detail demonstrated by closely reviewing and using design checklists • Illustrates concepts and obtains approval by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts • Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art • Stays on the cutting edge of what’s new in design, identifying opportunities to implement and experimenting with applying new methods and concepts • Knows when to be flexible and adjusts to effectively respond to changes • Completion of other tasks and duties as assigned Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in branding, print and web design, working within an in-house creative department or other creative team environment • Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office • Advanced understanding of print design best practices: utilizing a grid-system for layout, typography, design hierarchy, designing with gutters, bleed, and margins • Experience designing all types of print collateral and product packaging • Experience with Keyshot and JIRA a plus
