Position Summary Accuracy of work in the Design Department is crucial, as it is the launch point for all of production. Essential to the Designer’s effectiveness is her/his ability to work closely with the Sales/CS department and the Production Department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of top quality products to customers, both internal and external. Position Responsibilities • Mosaic Tile Design * Custom Design creation • Redesign of existing designs to improve aesthetics or cost basis • Development of new stock item designs • Sales/CS Support * Assist Graphic Designer in development/output of select sales/marketing pieces • Photography and optimization of products and installations for sales/marketing purposes • Manufacturing/Production Support * Supply all production patterns necessary for stock items or custom designs • Take an active role in process improvements and expense reductions within all areas of production as well as design • Tile fab project support • Photography * Photographing and optimizing all new products as well as marketable customs • Photographing local installations for marketing purposes upon request • Special Projects as assigned Desired Schedule:
