Graphic Designer

We are seeking a graphic designer who will work on a wide variety of projects but with a focus on museum exhibitions. The graphic designer will work in direct collaboration with the firm partners or architectural design staff to design and develop a suite of graphics for each project including identity, wall texts, graphics for interactives, labels, photomurals, timelines, and other graphics as needed. Qualified candidates will have creative problem-solving skills, an ability to think conceptually, and an ability to design by taking into consideration different content themes, spatial conditions, and historical contexts. The graphic designer must have a good sense of scale and how graphics work in space. Close attention to detail as well as a solid understanding of various graphic media and production methods are critical. Prior experience working on museum exhibition graphics is preferred. This is a remote work position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with TSKPxIKD partners/architectural designers to design/develop, and execute designs for a wide range of project types
- Prepare graphic production files
- Use Photoshop to manipulate images to work on a larger scale
- Produce digital illustrations
- Work with outside fabricators/printers to ensure quality of production
- Assist in preparing marketing packages and project proposals as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in graphic design
- Experience working in art museums preferred
- A good sense of scale and how graphics work in space
- Ability to design engaging graphics that look good both up close and from far away
- Close attention to detail
- Expert level skill with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel)
- Demonstrated skills as a graphic designer with an ability to work quickly and flexibly to meet client needs, schedule, and budgets
- Some familiarity with architectural drawings and an ability to create elevation drawings and mockups for graphic applications
- Illustration abilities are a plus
- Minimum BFA in graphic design or equivalent
