Graphic Designer

***Design portfolio must be attached with each submission The Tampa Bay Rays and Rowdies are seeking a creative, hard-working and team-oriented individual to join our ambitious, forward-thinking Rays Creative team. This graphic designer will contribute to our fun and energetic culture, bringing a positive attitude and a keen eye for creative problem solving. Responsibilities • Produce compelling art and visuals, functional graphic design, and excellent branding and campaign work from conception to completion. Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s degree • 3+ years of experience in a creative role within sports, entertainment or with an agency • Creative problem solver • Positive, friendly and team-oriented attitude • Self-starter with multitasking experience • Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays • Knowledge of current design trends and an interest in emerging visual styles • Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Background and/or passion for fine art media • Good copywriting instincts and a strong attention to detail • High level skills in typography, spatial hierarchy and brand and logo creation • Knowledge of baseball preferred
