Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer’s main responsibility is to assist in the conception and design of the internal and external marketing and communications for the company. The Graphic Designer is responsible for maintaining personal timelines and deliverables and working cross‑functionally to strategize and problem‑solve. Primary Responsibilities & Duties • Collaborate closely with the Design Director and graphics team to conceptualize internal and external marketing • Create and update production files, make revisions and update design files • Assemble or supervise the assembly of presentation materials • Work with the graphics team and category manager to conceptualize packaging and carding design • Develop a cohesive vision strategy for design solutions that are on‑trend, creative, innovative and customer‑centric • Create designs from concept sketches to press‑ready production files • Sketch and mock‑up packaging hand samples when needed • Photograph product, edit and manipulate as needed • Conduct extensive research and stay current with jewelry, product and design trends, including online and in‑store retail analysis Skills & Qualifications • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field • 2‑4 years of relevant design experience, with a focus on print and illustration a plus • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat • Experience with packaging and carding production • Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with direction • Ability to work as part of a team; collaborating with coworkers and maintaining cross‑functional relationships • Ability to gain an understanding of departmental and corporate strategic vision and goals • Ability to work in a fast‑paced fashion environment, under pressure of short deadlines and ever‑changing priorities • Ability to participate in design meetings to offer suggestions and input • Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines as necessary Job Type
