The Flint Institute of Arts is the second largest art museum in Michigan and one of the largest museum-connected community art schools in the United States. For 90+ years, the FIA has been responsible for acquiring, protecting, and presenting a collection of art and artifacts Role Description This part-time Graphic Designer position is a hybrid role based in Flint, MI, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work. Qualifications • Proficiency in Graphic Design • Strong knowledge and application of Typography and new current design trends • Creative thinking and attention to detail • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred • Experience or interest in the arts, museums, or education is a plus
