Graphic Designer

Marketing Little Rock, AR The graphic designer plays a very important role within Dillard’s in-house advertising department, creating compelling designs copy to promote Dillard’s merchandise in various advertising pieces—primarily email campaigns. • Works with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and occasionally Adobe Illustrator to create graphics and imagery • Manages all aspects of an email's production including: layout/organization, cropping images, creating graphics, building and testing links, and trafficking the email through stages of review and approval • Produces all work in accordance with Dillard’s design standards • Maintains a strong understanding of Dillard’s brands, customer profiles and broader fashion industry trends • 1+ years experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) • Experience designing for e-commerce, email or digital advertising and ability to provide examples of previous work • Strong understanding of fundamental visual design including layout/composition and color • Experience managing multiple projects at once, while adhering to deadlines and producing the desired results • College or associate degree in related field and/or Professional Certification required • Accuracy and a strong eye for detail are absolutely essential • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Should possess high emotional intelligence and a willingness to collaborate and accept/offer constructive feedback • Should be self-motivated and highly organized • Must be comfortable working under tight deadlines
