Graphic Designer

They run an in-house production for anytime of signage, vinyl wrap, printed or embroidered apparel as well as a 3000 sq foot gift store featuring brands like Yeti, Turtlebox, Brighton, Enewton and collegiate merchandise. Run by three family members and a staff of 35-40 employees it is known for its community involvement, their commitment to quality products and customer satisfaction and building customers relationships.

Role Description Communigraphics is looking for a creative, organized and hardworking graphic artist to join our fast-paced production team. We specialize in custom apparel and graphics/logo design and we're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys turning ideas into high quality printed products. We want someone creative, dependable, and ready to jump into a busy production atmosphere. If you enjoy seeing your artwork come to life on apparel and can keep up with a fast-moving workflow, wed love to hear from you. This is not a low-paced studio environment - we handle a high volume of orders with tight deadlines, especially during peak seasons. The ideal candidate can work efficiently, manage multiple projects at once and maintain strong attention to detail under pressure . Responsibilities include: - Create, proof and prepare custom t-shirt and apparel designs - Set up artwork for screenprint production - Perform color separations for spot color and simulated process printing - Ensure artwork is print-ready and production-friendly - Communicate with customers (not just by email but with phone skills) and production staff regarding art needs - Make revisions/adjustments quickly and accurately - Assist and be knowledgeable of newest technology, softwares and AI developments to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications

- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar software - Knowledge of t-shirt design and apparel decorations - Experience with screen print process and color separation - Strong understanding of vector artwork and print production set up - Ability to work in fast-paced deadline driven environment - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Positive attitude and team oriented mindset Bonus skills include: - Understanding of how to incorporate AI in design field - Experience with embroidery digitizing - Prior experience in a screen print shop or apparel production
