Graphic Designer

The Catholic Diocese of Wichita is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as full-time Graphic Designer. It is expected that candidates will have the following qualifications: • Requires a bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field. Prefer four years of experience • Knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of digital art, graphic design, layout and illustration • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with graphics software programs and electronic desktop publishing equipment and techniques • Strong project management skills and experience working with commercial printers • Passionate practitioner of innovative and beautiful graphic design • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and collaborate in a team environment • Ability to help all diocesan departments and institutions communicate effectively through visual media • Attention to detail, customer service orientation and the ability to work within, and meet, tight deadlines • Knowledge and understanding of Catholic teachings • Practicing Catholic in good standing and an active steward in one's parish integrating and witnessing the Catholic faith through daily work and service Salary and benefits will be commensurate with education and experience.
