Graphic Designer (Part-Time, Contract)
Location: Remote (Hybrid in Boston, MA beginning late 2026)
Job Type: Part-Time Contract (6 Months)
Schedule: 22.5 Hours per Week
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the development, design, and production of educational, outreach, and marketing materials. This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to create engaging visual content for public-facing campaigns and educational initiatives.
This position is fully remote for the first four months. Beginning in late October 2026, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule with one day per week onsite in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
Design and produce brochures, booklets, flyers, banner ads, billboards, presentations, and digital assets.
Create visually compelling materials using Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
Develop culturally inclusive marketing materials tailored to diverse audiences.
Prepare and manage layouts for multilingual publications and outreach materials.
Coordinate with external vendors, including printers and translators, to obtain quotes, manage timelines, review proofs, and ensure quality deliverables.
Maintain organized design files and brand assets.
Ensure all materials adhere to branding guidelines and project objectives.
Support special projects, presentations, conferences, and outreach initiatives with graphic design expertise.
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of professional graphic design experience.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Experience creating print-ready files and managing print production processes.
Strong attention to detail and file organization skills.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
Portfolio demonstrating high-quality graphic design work.
Work Arrangement
Months 1–4: Fully Remote
Months 5–6: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite in Boston, MA)
